Side Effects ??

Hi
This is really a question for that brainmaster Sqad. Having recently undergone a radical prostatectomy ( 5 weeks ago), I have in the last week developed a soreness/rash in both my left and right groin.Prior to the surgery ( for about 5 to 6 weeks) I had various times when I was prescribed anti biotics for UTI's, and also a week's course after the op. These A/Biotics were Ciprofloxacin and Trimethoprim. Would it be possible for this rash/soreness be a side effect of these drugs, even though I haven't had any for 4 weeks ? I am going to my GP on Tuesday for my 6 monthly BP check and want to go forearmed !! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is unlikely that the rash you describe is due to the antibiotic course that you received. It is a good idea to have your GP examine the area of the rash.
Is this not tissue damage/bruising coming out after the op?
Unlikely to be bruising 5 weeks post op.
Onset of a rash, 3-4 weeks after finishing antibiotic treatment is very unlikely and I agree with marie26.
Could either be a bacterial or fungal infection.
