They were talking about them on Watchdog tonight Amber-Rose. They can have some unpleasant side effects. They can give you chronic diarrhoea and if you get wind, you may follow through...so to speak.
So you would lose weight then?
I don't doubt it ttfn - but you'd need a whole new set of underwear which could prove costly!
I have not, and would not try them personally, my friend takes them, don't think they're helping from what I can see!...............
Ooh welsh! Bit harsh, even if it's true! lol
I took them last year and lost a stone and a half, which has stayed off. As long as you watch the fat content of what you eat them you shouldn't have a problem with accidents. The booklet you get with the tablets explains everything very well.
Oh dear - just realised I have posted on this and the wobbly toilet seat tonight
Did you have any ...um...nasty side effects karen?
Lardhelmet, it's true! can't see a difference! costing a fortune! would never tell her, but if she just ate sensibly, no need to buy these overpriced pills!................
Apart from being more regular - no problems at all.
If you mean appetite depressants, make sure you take a natural one like Acai. Acai really works, it does suppress the appetite and I've lost weight with it. But you have to remember to eat and make sure you're getting all the nutrients that you would have got from all those pizza bases, potatoes and bread.Eat loads of fresh fruit and fruit juice for breakfast and pog yourself on a big salad with only organic rye bread for carbohydrate, every day. Good luck!
no comment, ttfn.....!
I'm doing the Slimming World thingy and losing weight steadily but not too fast and that works for me. It's what works for you isn't it?
(;-)) got it in one boxy - I am trying to behave myself tonight!
Beryl, Alli isn't an appetite suppressant. It stops your body absorbing a third of the fat you eat.
why's that then ttfn?
Slimming World is great, I lost 3 stone with that diet about 4 years ago, and I've not gained more than a pound or two since!.................
Because I am a nice person really ( I think so anyway)!
Excellent welsh - that's very encouraging. Only a few pounds off my target weight now - very pleased.
well done welsh and lardy. I don't do well with these clubs, I am better just doing it myself - very slow but I have lost nearly a stone in the past year. Laying off bread and chocolate are my main aims.
