for the past couple of months now ive suffered with a really dry, itchy flaky scalp and its driving me nuts. I always used head and shoulders and never had any problems like this till about 5-6 months ago so i cahnge shampoo thinking that was the problem. Its getting worse really and ive even had a friend check me for headlice to rule that out. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make this better. thanks

I've got it really really bad at the moment (although it's starting to get better) I think it was stress related. Go to your chemist. They have special shampoos.
Nizoral shampoo worked for me.
Get it from the chemist.
Better still, ask the pharmacist for advice.

is that available in the chemists or do you need a prescription? i have been stressed of late with various things really so it could be related. thanks for your suggestions xxx
You can get it over the counter.
It takes a couple of weeks to work completely, but you should know a difference after the first couple of washes.
There is a Neutrogena therapeutic shampoo that smells like coal tar. Brilliant stuff.
Got to agree with PB, Neutrogena T is good stuff, the first wash leave it on for one or two minutes to allow your scalp to absorb. You will see a vast difference in a couple of weeks. Good Luck. Aunty Jem.
Hi gossipgirl - try this http://www.lookfantas...cG38p0CFU0A4wodPXjPxg
I got some for my friend, who gets this same problem which is stress related.
I had this problem a couple of years back and found that using baby shampoo really helped, anything else was just too harsh.
