sore feet!

I bought a new pair of shoes that are made from man made fibres.  After the first wear I was crippled.  I have shoe trees but they don't seem to have any effect, maybe because they are not leather.  Does anyone have any ideas on how to make them wider?

smudge		(Sun 10:45 28/Nov/04) I thought you could only stretch leather shoes/boots. Shame you can't accidentally damage them & take them back to the shop (naughty, naughty), or if they were inexoensive, give them to a charity shop & start again.

Marvin84		(Sun 13:52 28/Nov/04) to get a tiny bit of width, try heating them prior to wearing (use a hairdryer) - this may help a little, but not much.
ezapf		(Mon 03:21 29/Nov/04) They must have been a very good price or you would not have bought the wrong size. I would sell them on an online auction site and start over.
