me too
I have excellent night vision as well
I was shocked to discover wife can't see 1/10 of what I can at night.

watching telly - I can sit in darkness wife has to have her light on
100 watt uplight, and a spotlight on an arm pointing over her shoulder.
my reading lamp is a 15W dark orange coloured pigmy bulb

I just wear shades almost constantly in daytime - even on a dull day.

I once even had a pair of sunglasses
which were fitted with a set of polaroid lenses that fit over glasses on top

wouldn't be so bad if I looked like the fonze

I also have very light sensitive eyes, the only thing you can do to help is wear sunglasses or tinted glasses all the time.

People with grey or blue eyes tend to be more light sensitive than other colours.Mine are blue :)

I believe the problem is caused by watching too much TV and looking at the PC screen for too long. Try going out into the country and exercising them by looking into the distance and then at closer objects. This exercises the eye muscles and the greenest of trees and grass rests the eyes. My living room has green carpet and lighter green curtains which I find very restful when the sun shines through them, and don`t spend more than a couple of hours at the computer at one time.
