No, you'll be ok, but your mouth must be terribly dry now?
Keep a bottle of chilli sauce at work and mix it with the tuna if this situation ever arises again.

because high in mercury or something

I have a friend was has stopped eating tuna cos of the levels of mercury in it. Once a weeks is okay but I wouldn't eat 2 tins at once very often!

True; tinned tuna has high levels of mercury (not fresh though) and pregnant women are advised not to eat it. Actually, we shouldn't be eating red tuna anymore as tuna is becoming scarce.

Stinking out the premises eh! You won't be popular!

Mixed in with mayo and between 2 crusty, buttered slices of brwad may've improved it infinitely.

Fresh tuna has just as much mercury in it as tinned tuna. However the guidelines for pregnant women are no more than four medium cans or two fresh tuna steaks per week. http://www.food.gov.uk/multimedia/faq/mercuryf ish/
