Hot in bed

OK But this is actually a serious bit of research so no smut please.

I get very hot in bed and often throw off the covers whereas my wife is cold and usually has two quilts over her. I've noticed the same with previous partners. Usually the woman's feet are cold and she puts them against me to warm them up or something similar.

What is your experience? Who is hotter in bed? Man or woman?

Mr Boo is usually the warmer of the two of us in bed. And we too used to suffer with him throwing me duvet off and me wrapping it round myself, however we've since got round this by putting a single electric blanket just on my side of the bed.

I feel the cold more than hubby. In bed, my feet always seem to be cold, so I take a hottie EVERY night of the year.

How very accommodating your hubby is beejaybee, I think Mr Boo might get a bit sniffy if I took someone else to bed with me, a hotty or otherwise!

i am always cold in bed and recently bough a 13.5 tog quilt which my partner says makes the bed like and oven.my feet are always freezing and his are too hot.maybe its a woman thing i'm not sure.he complains i hog the quilt and i admit i do although not intentionally.i am known as fridge hands by my partner lol so that shows how cold i get

single electric blankets are good. We used to have a waterbed that was actually two singles side by side in the same frame, which you could set at different temperatures.

Mr what is always warmer but thats because he is a good few stone bigger than me he even has a fan on him all night that blows across and chills me even more.

If you are finding the bed too warm and suffer alot try a 'chillow pillow' to keep you cool.

i seem to be an unusual ms. i am always the warmest. the bf always wants window shut with extra sheets on and im left with my legs and arms outa the bed trying to cool off.

Mandimoo your not the odd one out, I'm a girlie and I'm always kicking the covers off and opening windows coz I'd rather be cold, and my boyf wraps up so much that he sweats - yuck!!

I'm usually the warmest and always kick my feet out and have to have a window open.

Thanks to all respondents. It's confirmed my belief that generally men have a higher rate of metabolism than women when resting. (The next question is why?)
I'll have my Chillow Pillow and my wife can have her hottie and perhaps we'll snore in harmony?
