Anxiety

When you're feeling very anxious about a particular thing which is coming up or something you feel you have done wrong, what do you do to allieviate these feelings?

Thanks!

It's hard isn't it. I'm a bit like you, seems to invade my thoughts at every opportunity. Try taking a herbal relaxant like 'Lanes quiet life tablets' available from Holland & Barrett xxx

I suffered for years with anxiety and practically lived on 'Rescue Remedy' sprays and sweets.
Not so sure about the sweets but the spray is great, it calmed me within seconds.
Other than that try deep breathing, it can work wonders. I know it's realy hard to relax when your in this frame of mind but try if you can to sit in a quiet place on your own and breath in through the nose for a count of 3 seconds and then out through the mouth for 5 seconds. Do this for a little while and it should calm you down.

Failing that, hit the gin! (joke!) : D
