Sleep positions

I know this will attract some weird responses, but I hope some people will answer genuinely - as I am currently doing research into establishing a link between sleep positions and personality traits.

Four questions:

1. What position do you sleep (i.e. on back, on left side, foetal, on front)

2. Are you generally an introvert or extrovert

3. are you generally a happy person.

4. Are you a confident person in your work and home life

I'd really appreciate sensible answers, but the funny replies are welcome too, to make me smile

1. Fall asleep on side but usually wake up on my back - snoring my head off. Very overweight (and busty) so this restricts the positions I can get into.!?

2. Both - I am bipolar

3. 'normal' me is happy and contented - the high and low me are not.

4. I thought that I lacked confidence, but I am confident enough to do my own thing in life.

I always go to sleep on my left side, with my right knee up so edging towards being on my front.

I am an extroverted introvert (to be precise!)

Have suffered major depression, but happier now than for a long time.

Building confidence slowly, but as I'm agoraphobic that really only applies to when I'm inside my own home.

Hope this helps your study.

3) no but very good at hiding it from most people.

4) no very shy, but sometimes overcompensate.

1. What position do you sleep (i.e. on back, on left side, foetal, on front)

Sleep on my side in the foetal position. Boobs to big to sleep on my front, can't sleep on my back and have a bad tummy so front too painful. Tend to sleep wrapped in a blanket as like to feel cosy and it provides a soft barrier for my tummy.

2. Are you generally an introvert or extrovert

Introvert.

3. are you generally a happy person.

Yes.

4. Are you a confident person in your work and home life

Yes.

Hi there - I once did a research project on personality traits and political party alliance (v. interesting results!) so your question intrigued me and i am happy to respond:

1. What position do you sleep (i.e. on back, on left side, foetal, on front)

I sleep in the recovery positon (either side) with a pillow under my head and one under my arm body for support (with much flinging of pillows when i change position to the chagrin of mr stonekicker)

2. Are you generally an introvert or extrovert

both - i like my own company and quiet, but i am sometimes also loud and gregarious. probably 50:50

3. are you generally a happy person.

yes - i am also very optimistic

4. Are you a confident person in your work and home life

yes - i am comfortable in my own skin and know what i want from life

good luck in your project and it would be lovely to get some feedback/results in the future to see how you got on
