Good morning all, has anyone tried - and had sucess with the diet patches that you can order online?(eg Curb Your Cravings, The Pink Patch etc). I am very tempted to give them a bash but they are not cheap and I guess could just be a con.

Of course they are a con.

The NHS is desperate to find a safe way of curbing the appetite that has no side effects. If they worked they would be available on prescription.

Fair point Ethel - thanks for your answer.
All the ingredients are available at health shops anyway.
A friend of mine posted me a link to the pink patch asking what I thought, as she was considering trying it. I looked up the ingredients and, as bimbo says, it's all stuff available from a health food shop. My response was pretty much the same as Ethel's, if it works then the NHS would prescribe it to you.

The pink patch claims to stop your cravings etc, personally, I see it as a placebo and you're cheaper buying elasto-plast and telling yourself it has the same 'properties' as the pink patch, that will create the same effect.

Thanks for your answers - think I will save my money!!!!
It is easy to cure cravings- just give up that particular food for a couple of weeks and your cravings will go! If you crave sugar, have an apple or some honey in porridge. You are the boss of your body!!
