rom - Buy the cream not the lotion, you can thin it down with a little water in your hand if need be. E45 is very good! xxx

Yes, it's ok, it's really just a moisturiser for skin, it didn't help me with my (atopic) eczema, for which i needed a medicated cream

I find the E45 itch relief to be as good as the steroid based cream I get from the doctor for eczema

The makers of E45 make another cream called HC45 which can also be bought in chemists. It's a low grade hydrocortisone cream which also moisturises. It's good for reducing inflammation caused by irritation e.g allergies, insect stings. I wouldn't use it for eczema though!

$gs in correct abouts Boots generic being just as good but half the price for moisturising. For itching I would recommend the eurax to soak in the the Boots to moisturise with perhaps some of the wee cotton gloves on overnight.
