Shoe sizes and weight loss

I have lost some weight in spits and spats over the last year, anyway after getting my feet tattooed today I went to treat myself to some shoes that would shoe the tattooes off a bit. I have gone down a shoe size! A size seven. How is that possible? I even tried several shoe shops. I was a tight size 8 before, its not like my feet were covered in rolls of fat.

have any of your older shoes felt loose, maybe its just the sizing of the new shoe.

yeah they have cause I came home and tried but I have been predominantly in flip flops and sandles for a bit!

Oops, just reread you post, you tired different shops. Maybe your feet have narrowed with the weight loss therefore leading to a smaller shoe size or you have become an 'incredible shrinking person', have you measured your height lately? Do you have to stand on tip toes to see into the bathroom mirror, have you been refused access to rollercoaster rides 'cos you aren't tall enough?

In truth, I have absolutely no idea!

i lost a stone and went from a size 7 shoe to a size six still keeping the 7s just incase i put the stone back on lol

I lost weight and went from a 7 to a 6 and tattoo's on your feet kill!!!

I have matching ones on each foot.... cant explain it so heres a pic on one. quite fresh here

Oh and I didnt think it killed but the second one hurt miore than the first for some reason.

Don't your feet get big when you're preggers? Maybe you've just not been getting enough foot exercise and it's loss of muscle tissue.

I like you are accused of being a hippy, I hail orginally from Somerset and I have both of my feet tattoed. I wonder what else we share. I am older than you, we are both female.
Your feet don't have to have rolls of fat, it will have happened to your hands as well, for example I can no longer get my wedding band on becasue unlike you I have put weight on.
