i remembered about it earlier but had forgotten, it is really odd that we do this for decades but never reqally know when it is, i live 500 yards from our parish church and every time the clocks go forward the church bells remind me at 9.30am

what happens to night shift workers say they work 10-6am,do they only get paid seven hours instead of eight or do they have to wait till october to get the extra hour
no they get paid for working 8 hours cos they work 8 hours . lol
They work 7 hours and get paid for 8 actually

its not really odd Dot because if they go in at ten oclock then put the clock forward at 2am to 3am, it means they have worked an hour less, can you imagine evryone getting up at 2am to change the clocks, dont think so, why was 2am picked?

I tried it last year, I booked 11 hours instead of 10, I got paid for it on the next payslip, but the b@stards took it back the following week
