Intolerance

If there's one thing really ticks me off it's intolerance. Nothing makes me so intolerant of someone than if they show a lack of tolerance for others:)
I've just answered yet another quesiton showing huge ignorance, bigotry and intolerance for a racial group and it's really made my blood boil.
So my question is this, I have huge faults but disliking people because of their sex, ethnicity, orientation, racial group, religious group etc isn't one of them. Are you prejeudiced against any group if you really are honest?

I am intolerant of ignorance but the ignorant come from all walks of life and in all shapes and sizes and do not fit into any specific class, race or religious group.

I guess I would have to call myself a ignorantist.
I read both the question, and your answer nox, and know exactly what you mean, but to answer you question, yes, I am prejudiced againsrt a certain religious group, not all of that faith, but a sect,
Some might call me bigoted, but I don't think so.

As for your particular concern, nature makes people of all persuasions, and I find, as you do, that it takes all sorts to make a world, and we should accept it.
Lonnie, I am disgusted at your attitude. What have The Quakers ever done to you!!!
I like decent people. Am not racist or homophobic.

I dont like people who hate me...thats the only thing I have really. I dont like people who belittle oither people to make themselves look good. I dont like liars. I dont like arogence.
well said zorro, short and too the point
Very well thank you darling noxy :o)

I hope you are feeling a little more relaxed as the week goes by? not long now..

Hi boro.....

Nox is a 46 year old catholic man from Belfast. I'm sure he has seen a lot of death in his life time.

Thanks Ummmm, well yes I have actually boro. I've seen enough death, pain and misery for a lifetime. THAT'S why I hold the views I do, because I came to realise that nothing is ever going to get better until we gain more understanding of one another and are more tolerant.
My home, point of fact, is like a materclass of what happens when we don't celebrate our similarities but harp on our differences. I'm sorry for all of the soldiers lives lost in Iraq, and in Ireland too for that matter, but much as I don't suppose they wanted to be there, they signed up to be soldiers and soldiers fight for a living, it's what they do, so I don't really feel that it should be of any surprise to you or them that they have to go to war regions, do things they don't like and sometimes get maimed or killed. If we all had more tolerance in the first place there would be no wars.
