A week late period negative pregnancy test

Hi im 21, and meant to come on my period a week ago, i took a pregnancy test and it said that i was NOT pregnant. Still no sign of period though. I am slightly stressed at the moment as i am in my final year of uni and writing my dissertation. I came off the pill 3 months ago and since then been regular but before i went on the pill i wasnt regular, but then i wasnt having sex so knew i wasnt pregnant. Do you think i could be pregnant now?

curiosity		(Mon 02:58 13/Mar/06) If you weren't regular before the pill, then probably you are back to your normal irregular cycle. However, how much do you weigh? If you are drastically underweight, then your period disappears. Check it out with your Dr if you are worried. Good Luck.

I think it was the most stressful time of my life, since very important papers did not arrive until about a week before and we nearly had to call the whole thing off. For now I'd trust the test and give yourself another week or two. Since your period before taking the pill wasn't regular, there's no reason why it has to be now!
