my brother went to give blood ,he has just recieved a letter from them saying blood group unknown,does anybody know what this means ,i thought it was easy to tell a blood group,thank you. jannyneve (Thu 13:51 02/Mar/06)

Was it his first donation? If so, the letter may have meant 'blood group unknown at time of donation' and a later letter may give the blood type.
