I've had the same and it was relieved with gentle pressure applied with a fingertip.

Press on the twitchy part then, NoM?
Hi Tilly, it's said normally caused by over tiredness, stress.
Question Author
Thanks, patsy. I'm not stressed...so I must be tired. :-)
Yes, Tilly.
I get it quite a lot. And in my arm.
You don't just need sleep, you need quality sleep. Uninterrupted sleep at the correct time for your body.
Question Author
I think I sleep fairly well, Hoppy. When I'm not jet lagged, that is. Maybe I am still jet lagged? We've been back for nearly two weeks though.

I have my fingertip on the spot and can feel the twitch in my fingers.
Question Author
Do you do the fingertip pressing thing, Ummmm?
Yes, Tilly, doesn't always work though.

One thing that used to set mine off was walking past railings on a sunny day.
Question Author
I can understand that, Ummmm.
Question Author
I think squinting sets it off.
Think yourself lucky. I had a heck of a job buying aspirin at the chemist when it happened to me.
Question Author
