How Much Do Gps Get For Recording Blood Pressure?

I regularly send reports from various clinics who independently take my blood pressure, do blood analysis, etc., to my GP for her information.

And yet she regularly tries to get me to go in to the surgery for a Blood Pressure test (usually carried out by the nurse).

Why?

Is it true that GPs cop £50 for each blood pressure test they take?

I asked this a while back, and didn't get any replies, so I'm 'bouncing' it up the page to see if anyone knows the answer!

No, it isn't true.
I found something on google, They apparently get an annual bonus for detecting certain illnesses including high blood pressure but I don't think that they get anything solely for taking a blood pressure reading which is usually done by a nurse anyway.
