I am awaiting Physio for this but my arm is literally - freezing cold - not to the touch - it's this normal.

Should I seek medical advice or will it clear up itself?

It's not worrying me just feels well...weird

Not sure what you mean....FROZEN SHOULDER.
Do you mean that your shoulder is ice cold but with full movement and no pain OR do you mean that you have a painful, immobile shoulder that id cold?

Hi Sqad

It's painful, I do have some range of movement but not complete range. It feels cold but not to touch. The only relief I get is if it's 'elevated'
Ah! sounds like a frozen shoulder (Capsulitis) but I have no idea why it should feel cold.

That makes two of us Sqad!

Can't work it out...unless my circulation is to pot as well lol.

Thank you for your help though much appreciated
That's quite unusual. I suppose it does suggest a bit of a circulation problem!

You're not sat under some icy air-conditioning are you? :)

The exercise I was given for a shoulder issue similar to this (bar the cold obviously) was to roll up a towel and then squeeze it in your armpit/into your side with your upper arm.

It bloody hurt, but helped int he long run.

I am unsure what the physio will prescribe for you, but I imagine it will be something of that nature!

Just seen your reply Ab Editor!

That's what I thought too it was a bit odd. It seems to have settled so I'll leave it be for now but may try your suggestion.

I wasn't sat under air con - the shop is on the shady side of the street but I had people comment on how warm it was - heater wasn't on.

I remember one my mum was given were you walk your fingers up the wall until your arm is vertical...that helped too but I couldn't really sit with my arm in the air all the time.

Thank you for the sugggestion I will give it a bash :)
