Recently I haven't been bothered to shave so I look like a yeti!
I wet shave but blummin heck do I struggle to shave all the beard off!
It takes mye approx. 30 minutes and I get through about 5 disposables and I struggle with certain parts of my face to get all the hair off
ive never used an electric razor so what's best? wet or dry?
Or can someone recommend a really decent wet razor?

Not shaved for years but no Yeti in my mirror.

Use scissors or a beard trimmer to get back to short hair, or ideally stubble, then try to shave. Personally I'd then dry shave first then maybe finish off wet shaving to get really close. But it's simply personal preference.
Some dry shavers have trimmer included.
I've never used anything else but Philips electric razors...because I want comfort and convenience - I'm not interested in faffing around with suds, foam, water and blades. Yes, you will get a marginally closer shave going the wet route...but not worth the bother, imo.
Mr Alba uses Wilkinson Titanium 5 blades, maybe a bit pricey but so much better than disposables. (according to him)
The latest Philishavers are fine - almost as good as a wet shave without the faff and risk, you don't end up at weddings etc. Sporting newsprint.
They also include an excellent beard trimmer. I get 2 weeks shaving from mine between charges. (1 hour)

Throw the disposable razors in the bin and buy yourself a Merkur 38c safety razor, not cheap but will last a lifetime. I use Wilkinson sword blades which are as cheap as chips on the internet.
I would reccomend purchasing an electric one that's suitable for both wet and dry use that way you can see what works best for you and it also means that they are easier to clean.

If you would like to continue using your disposable razor, a way to only use one at a time would be to purchase a trimmer which can get the hair to an appropriate length for achieving a clean shave.

Trimmers that come with multiple attachments are multi-purpose tools that can deal with unwanted hair in many areas. Here is a buying guide for trimmers http://fotoepilators.com/trimmer/.
Part of your problem is the large amount of time in between shaves !

I shave every day, except Sunday and always use a disposable razor, currently from Wilko, together with a good quality shave gel. I recommend the Nivea one.
Get a razor sharpener. About £6 from Amazon. The blades last about 4 times longer. Plus it cleans the blades.
