Is There A Bug Going Around

Has anyone else got this bug? You wake up in the morning with a killer of a painful throat but the next day (after copious amounts of Naproxen, in my case) the pain has gone but you are left with a dry cough. Is there something going around?

Only since yesterday morning. I was fine before that.

"Is there a bug going around?" has been asked countless times on AB over the years. Irrespective of the symptoms described, the answer has ALWAYS been "Yes!"

Thanks. I do feel much better and should be able to go to work on Sunday. I was just wondering if it is just me or a bug - it's hard to distinguish between a bug and hay fever

I my case I think it's a bug ( I don't suffer with hay fever ), gawd knows where I've picked it up from though. No one in the family or anyone that I work with has it.

You shouldn't be having copious amounts of Naproxen,2 or 3 per day maximum,otherwise a Heart attack or Stroke beckons.

Naproxen aren't for colds are they, I thought that they are super-ibuprofen type things, anti inflammatories. I've had the sniffs for a couple of days, it's morphing into sinus trouble so my teeth feel like they're dropping out.

Well, it definitely seems to be going around. I have almost completely lost my voice. Christ knows how I managed to get through work last night. Maybe the summer flu type bugs have come early due to the mild weather
