Issue is a blocked salivary duct, amoxicillin prescribed. He was surprised the dentist didn't pick up on that.

Thanks though - now to get her to swallow the first capsule.

Thanks for the feedback DT..............the diagnosis did "hit you in the face somewhat" and like the doctor, I am surprised that the dentist didn't pick it up.
Of course, if a stone is blocking the duct, this will need removing surgically as i mentioned in my post.
