Joint Pain

For a few months now I've noticed that my hips, shoulders, toes and knuckles have been sore when I'm moving. The most painful is my left hip owing to ligament damage and my right hand as it was shut in a car door.

Is there any reason why my joints are sore? Is it just the cold? Doesn't bother me that much just wondered why?

No idea how old you are but sounds very much like this:

ankylosing spondylitis (AS)?

http://www.arthritisresearchuk.org/arthritis-information/conditions/ankylosing-spondylitis/symptoms.aspx

you seem to have a lot of health problems so it could actually be caused by one of your medications.
mmmmm! interesting question being asked by a Type 1 erratically controlled diabetic.

As a starter.....a personal opinion....there is no association between your joint problems and your diabetes.

Yes, one can get joint problems with diabetes, but not with the sort of symptoms that you are describing.

Yes.....in my opinion your joint problems are due to the cold.

I'm only 28 rockyroad.

Thank you Sqad. I'm working very hard on my sugars.

If it's just the cold I'm so glad. Thank you :)
queenofmean. Cold makes my condition much worse I sometimes feel I age 10 years when it gets cold and moreover, damp. If things worry you get a blood test done for Rheumatoid Factor rather than relying on Forums for diagnostics.
Hi queen, my osteoarthritis has seemed much worse over the last couple of months, I hope it is weather related as I don't feel on top of my pain. I'd like to know what sqads opinion is on infra red lamp heat treatment?
Seatone capsules may be an option.

I have no experience of this Eleena........worth a go i would say.
Depends upon what type of arthritis we are dealing with.....I myself am an anti-inflammatory tablet man and when the time comes, a joint replacement advocate.

Thank you all for the advice. Will have a look out Zacs thanks.

I'm not too concerned at the moment. I dare say my time for arthritis will come as my late gran and mum suffered badly from it.

I hope both rockyroad and Eleena get some comfort soon.
Never heard of that ZM, mussel extract? Have you tried this ZM, do you find beneficial?
Hi sqad, I'm on maximum strength Ibuprofen, not working. I know infra red has been used for years, thinking of investing in one, thanks anyway.
Thanks queen, you too x
