Uncomfortable Bras.

Why have all my bras suddenly become really uncomfortable? I haven't put on any weight or anything like that but all my bras seem to be irritating, uncomfortable and 'there'. I do not want to be 'aware' of my bra on a daily basis.

Over the years I have had 36 B, C and D, depending on the time of the month and weight gain and loss.

I want to find a really nice, comfortable bra that I can't tell I'm wearing. Any recommendations?

Sorry Tilly can't help never worn a bra , well apart from after I had the kids and then only for six months. I hate them. Hope you sort it x
When you get older your breast tissue becomes less dense so I suppose that is the time to get re measured and buy new bras.
M&S. Always my first stop.
I have lots of bras, but only wear 2 of them. They are from Next. You need to get measured by someone who knows what they're doing.
Love the fact Chris is helping you out, Tilly
My Mrs has the same problem, she now gets them from Bravissimo. The catalogue makes excellent reading as well;-)
M&S for me too. I've been wearing these for years...always comfortable and really keep their shape.

I used to have the same problem when buying cheap off the peg bras until I was measured and now don't have that problem. Our bodies change unbeknown to us and also the bra manufacturers usually mass produce bras so the 1st off the production line might fit you like a glove but then try the millionth off the production line made by computer to exactly the same specifications will not fit as good due to small changes made by the computers.

I also find the underwire varies so it's a good idea to be measured every three months or so.
Not pregnant, are you?
?
237SJ's right. Your breast tissue changes - mainly into fat, which changes all sorts of things. I thought I was a D cup (after 40 yrs being a B, which morphed into a C)...had myself measured at M & S in their latest sales ploy a discovered that I am really a DD. Oh, the comfort! I walked out of the store wearing it! Bought an other 2 since.

Go somewhere that measures, Tilly, is my best advice.
Not sure what body shape you are, but I am very large chested and buy mine from Evans, I buy the firm non wired 2 for £28. Brilliant

I haven't been measured for a couple of years but I will take everyone's advice and do so.

I thought that I may have expanded in the hot weather we had.

I'll go to Marks and see what they say.
Maybe something is causing you to be more sensitive ?

I thought it was the heat, OG.
Last time I went to be measured I was told we cannot touch you, we have to do it by sight, FGS!!!
You need an "Abracada-bra" (maybe not!)
