I thought it was a really good idea yesterday to make some cocktails - Long Island iced teas - which contain white rum, vodka, tequila, gin, orange liqueur and coke! Now today it isn't feeling it was that good an idea......... Stomach is churning still!

Hair of the Dog is OK - but merely postpones the moment of reckoning if you don't also get some carbs into you.

No 'hair of the dog' does not work just delays the 'come down' for a while.
The main problem is dehydration, alcohol makes you pee out more than you drink in. That is what gives you the headache, the brain become dehydrated.
Hair of the dog doesn't work. It'll make you feel better in the short term if you can stomach it but you're really just prolonging the agony...

I have coffee and coke and watch crap TV until I feel hungry.
Salad, water and a general thoughts of repentance... ?
Boiled kettle water left to cool, and time.
Blimey - is there a hair shirt to go with that, Mr Ed?
Repent ye the Ed is nigh.....
not drink alcohol
Yep, the hair of the dog contingent are right. A big bloody mary.

Baths

Chocolate milk and a bloody great burrito :)
Not a cure, but a preventative which always worked for me in my younger days of over imbibing. Before you go to bed, drink LOTS of water, and eat some salt (I just placed some on my hand and licked it off: about 1/4 teaspoon). The water replaces all that you lost in peeing, and the salt replenishes the sodium and potassium that you lost...Remember: BEFORE you go to bed.
That should be the sodium and chloride that you lost.
ginger's good, ginger tea for instance
'ginger's good,'

Don't remind Gingerness, it'll bring on incurable nostalgia....
