Recently lying on my right ear it felt a little tender, but lately it feels as if some thing is moving around inside that ear, no pain or noise. Could it be wax / I have never had any problems with my ears.

Go to the GP or practice nurse to have a look in your war and if wax is confirmed to have it syringed out.
