what could this be?

I've noticed recently that i can hold my hand out and it is dead still

however when i am doing things, picking stuff up etc, i can feel a kind of jittery shake ... not massively and i'm not sure if it would be noticeable to anyone else - no-one has said anything
but what could be causing it?

thanks

I have the same problem. I noticed it particularly the other day while having lunch with someone I didn't know all that well. Every time I picked up my glass my hand shook, but if I hold out my hand now, it's dead still.
It could just be nervousness.
I get it too. I also think it's nerves.

That rules out any serious neurological disorder.

What you are describing is what is known as an "Intention Tremor" Cause unknown, most people at some time have this and no treatment is necessary as it is "no big deal."
