My OH has been diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis and has gone from being a fit, muscular and healthy man to now having a skeletal body in 7 months. They say the cause is the awful coughing and difficulty in breathing but have only offered nutritious drinks. He has no appetite, can't stand the smell of food and baulks at the sight of food. He only eats kids size meals and shovels it down because he has to. We have tried using butter, cream, cheese etc all the things we avoided for years but they have made no difference. He gets very upset when he looks in the mirror.
Can anyone advise some appetising nutritious food I can try that will tempt him to eat and maybe put a bit of weight back on.
