Does anybody know if anyone has ever won one of the big ITV competitions (This Morning, Lorraine, Good Morning Britain etc) by sending their phone number to the ubiquitous PO BOX 7558 in Derby? After previous problems with ITV competitions, I'm sure they are now all scrutinized independently, but how do they give phone, text and postal enties a fair and equal chance of winning? I can understand that there might be an automatic way of converting phone and text entries into some sort of random number to be picked at the appropriate time, but to do that with postal entries it would surely have to be done manually. Would they bother?!

By the lack of responses in nearly two weeks, I conclude that nobody knows! But does anybody out there enter any of these competitions by post via the Derby PO Box, or by text or phone?
Now that I've got more time on my hands ( retired ), I "enter " quite a few of these ITV comps. I am also thinking they give precedence to the text and phone replies, because after all, they're getting a cut from the phone provider.

At last, a reply! When you enter these comps, do you text, phone or send an envelope with your name and number, like I do? I suspect most entires are texted in, but you could spend a fortune, as they allow more than one submission....
