The man's unstoppable, imo.
With enemies like Brown who needs friends. Haha.

Yes, the momentum has been allowed to reach the point where waverers will now see him as the underdog attacked by establishment figures. I now think he may well win. Brown is not quite the 'elder statesman' figure he thinks he is. It's all rather horrible to watch. Until recently I was fairly sure that Andy Corbyn would sneak it. Now all vitriolic attacks on Corbyn merely make him stronger.

I do know several Labour people who are still undecided. Well, whatever the result, it is democracy (although slightly suspect unless they weed out these bought votes successfully) and must be lived with.
^^^ Sorry, Andy Burnham (pub lunch with family!)
You were as confused as them jordain.
many corbyn supporters (and other assorted left wingers) would see a corbyn victory as the labour party regaining control of itself. a party's belief unto itself is a good start, but on its own won't win it elections.

left wing policies will get the skinny latte islington socialistas shouting "hurrah", just as they did in 1983. but the undecided marginal electorate is no more ready for true socialism now than it was 30 years ago.

"Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."
The more I hear of what he says the more I like him!
I heard him saying that Labour will never be in power again unless they can reclaim the Scottish seats and he is the only one who could do it. I 100% agree with that. The other candidates are panicking now, but the more they try to put him down the more his support grows. He is going to win at the first vote with an unprecedented majority. Be interesting to see what the other candidates say once he has trounced them.
In a way Corbyn reminds me of Thatcher, albeit from the other end of the political spectrum. Then, as now, party activists were disillusioned by the failure to win elections and the consensus type of politics which meant that it was sometimes difficult to put a cigarette paper between the two parties. Thatcher offered an alternative, a return to traditional beliefs, just as Corbyn is doing now. Whether Corbyn will be able to repeat his success in the Labour Party with the electorate remains to be seen.
Corbyn is a car crash waiting to happen.
From what I can see he's doing well becauyse some rather shallow people have jumped on the "he's not like others" bandwagon.
But Peter Sutcliffe "wasn't like the others" either :-)
He may well become the first person to win a leadership election on the strength of the type of coat he wears :-)
Never trust a man with a beard like Shipman's

all the english parties are finished in scotland eddie. he's no more chance of winning scotland round than david cameron.
Being it on"". Don't know about Mandleson though, he's too busy advising despots.
