I heard this on the radio, unsure how scientific this all is. I think I may stick to my hot showers

It's supposed to make your hair look shinier.

There is no scientific benefits of routine cold showers at all.

If you fancy one then fine, but do not expect it to give you a longer or healthier life.
I'd really struggle to have a cold shower even when abroad. The only way I can get into a cold swimming pool or the sea is by running and jumping.
I've tried running into the swimming pool but it doesn't work, I find myself having run to the other side before I know it.
You left out the jumping...that would be why!
