When Do Theories Turn Into Mental Illness

I am starting to develop theories on existence and this thing we call reality. I am starting to think that this whole world was created by none other than myself in order to save myself from the madness of eternity. each molecule of this world is created by my other consciousness. In order for my time to be controlled and not affect my main concious level I had to implement rules into my creation so as to avoid my godly powers creating at will as this could cause chaos.

This means that all of you do not exist and I am merely playing out my own game. Time doesn't exist either it is just a matter of perception. The whole world good and bad here for my entertainment. This is why we only utilise a % of our brain. So I can contain my real main Conciousness but only use a slight amount which gives me safety due to limitations. Great power in an unlighted mind would be very dangerous as just for something to happen you would merely think about it.

Life and death is irrelevant as it is not actually real.

Have I passed through to the world of mental illness or am I questioning life appropriately?

You/I can think anything that we want. When you start to believe it or act on it then it could be problematic.
Well the fact you've posted this means you are either talking to yourself or you are questioning your omnipotence.

Talking to myself is a possibility for sure. But I must prove this
I don't think that's mental illness. Just utterly wrong.
As we do not exist, any answer you read will be another part of your game.
UK, are you still drinking?
uk, this is not even a new theory, its been used in sci fi stories before.
A few years ago I would have said that you had delusions and recommended mental health care, but increasingly it is being identified that people whose world view does not agree with the majority or who hear voices may not, by definition, be "ill" as such. The new concept says that the line from "not ill" to "ill" is crossed when the person's belief set makes them behave in a way which is harmful or distressing to themselves or others, or where the voices or belief set take over control form the person.
Okay, what am I thinking now, then??
If you are questioning your mentality then you are sane, if you were insane you would not have the mental ability to query your sanity.
When asleep & we dream we are living that dream, we are not aware that we have another life that we live when we are awake so as both lives are absolutely real to us at the time which one is the actual REAL life & how can you tell ?
You might like to enter the word "solipsism" into a well-known search engine.
This seems to be the name of your condition. One may declare oneself a solipsist, but - perhaps more appropriately - "the" solipsist.
Usually a phase passed through by teenagers before they get to grips with the real world.

you sound nuts to me (and i am a psych nurse with a mental health problem myself!). try explaining your theory to your gp......that should get you a psych assessment pretty quickly. i wish you well x
Phew! that's me off the hook.
'each molecule of this world is created by my other consciousness'
It was ukanonymous all along.
I went through a short period in my teenage years of thinking like this, it was highly unpleasant, trying to function while at the same time believing it all to be 'unreal'.
Interestingly enough it also seems to be a common experience amongst people that have distressing near death experiences

//"I was rocketing through space like an astronaut without a capsule with immense speed and great distance. A small group of circles appeared ahead of me. To the right was just dark space. The circles were black and white and made a clicking sound as they snapped black to white and white to black. They were not evil exactly, just mocking and mechanistic. The message in their jeering was, "Your life never existed. The world never existed. Your family never existed. You were allowed to imagine it. You were allowed to make it up. It was never there. There was nothing there. There never was anything there. You're not real."//

Some time ago I also read a forum where someone had posted a similar post to yours after smoking DMT (I think) and he had become convinced that only he existed and everything else was illusion. Cant find the post now but it was interesting to read.

I guess even though I know this world is all non existent I have implemented rules which will either make me enjoy my time or not so best stick to them.
Hello ukanonymous. I've signed up on this site just to make this connection after reading your interesting question. I regularly search the internet forums, q&a sites for likeminded people who question life and aren't "Sheeple"

You're along the right track but the wrong path.

As my name implies i'm a believer of the matrix. This world and the universe have been created by a source for reasons unknown to me but possibly some kind of experiment by higher beings.

This is all an illusion, some kind of virtual reality. The universe is just too perfect. Everything happened at the right time and place, the suns in the right place and we happen to be the only planet nearby in the goldilocks zone.

Various things have been deliberately thrown into the equation to make us question the perfection of the universe. Mother natures disasters, cancer, kids dying young etc. So that none of us are the wiser that life is the perfect program.

I believe that real "Agents" walk amongst us as everyday people but especially in the governments, the freemasons and the illuminati amongst others who regulate the "program" for reasons i don't understand yet.

Me and others have spent their whole lives studying this "Matrix" and have refused to believe the various inconsistencies of life, evolution and the origin of mankind and it's place in the universe.

What are your thoughts on this and i'm not sure how long you've been searching for the truth but it's definitely not mental illness and welcome to the revolution and waking up and realising that life is much more than a 9-5 job paying bills, having kids, watching the sunset with a glass of wine and then dying.

The truth is out there and those that seek it will uncover it eventually.

"Knowledge is free.

We are Anonymous.

We are Legion.

We do not forgive.

We do not forget.

Expect us.”
You have to be wrong because you and the rest of the universe was created by me. But I need not worry for you are a figment of my imagination anyway.
