It would need to be damp ... and might get heated very unevenly, so be careful and start with much less than two minutes.
No...if it's dry. Microwaves need something with moisture in to work ie warm up.
Roll it up into a sausage shape and drizzle with water. Put it in the microwave for a minute and see how it feels.
NO !! You are inviting trouble.
Drape it over a bowl or jug containing some water.
Problem is...a damp towel WILL warm up.....but will go cold very quickly. So useless for this purpose.
I heat towels or silk scarves on my heaters (storage, so very hot) alternatively have used an iron.
Trouble with a hot towel, like they give you in restaurants, won't stay hot very log at all like wheat does. Have you not got a hot water bottle instead?
Could you make a bread poultice and wrap that in a towel?
^^^or a suet pudding?

Think that might burn my neck Mamy :-)

Lots of mixed advice Ta, but will try it for a few seconds first with a bit of water.
Sigh.............
Buy another wheat bag tomorrow.
Better to put your towel in the tumble dryer for a few minutes, or over a heater as Mamya has suggested.
