Does anyone know if what I've written here is actually 'correct' - I've tried to pull information from 3 different books and I'm just worried this is actually 'wrong' - for anyone that knows anything about art history, I'd be ever so grateful for your input - thank you :)

Constructivism was an aesthetic style of minimalistic and geometrical elements '...considered too abstract to reach the masses'. It was style that was to form the basis of photo-montage and the Dada Movement. One that aimed to distinguish the differences between Cubism and collage, who had adopted the ideas of collage within their work but the reasons and the results for doing so were very different, using collage as a tool that gave the artist a different way of displaying textures. Dadists however aimed their work to be representative of a different message and as an art form that was full of narrative, changing and recreating meanings of the original photographs rather than supporting them or emphasising them in a collage. As a response to the feeling of changing industrial developments, revolution and the effects of World War One, there developed a strong desire to build and construct, and the development of photo-montage provided artists with a new style that could reflect this. It's ability to communicate was reinforced by the use of modern and accessible materials such as newspapers and magazines.

Sorry, I don't know enough about art but it does sound as if it's just text that's copied and pasted from several sources, although some of the sentences don't follow the normal rules- for example: "One that aimed to distinguish the differences between Cubism and collage, who had adopted the ideas of collage within their work but the reasons and the results for doing so were very different, using collage as a tool that gave the artist a different way of displaying textures."
You need to stand back, think about what you are trying to say, and then try to put it in your own words a bit more.

Good luck. I hope an art specialist can advise too.
I agree - it doesn't sound like one person's opinion; and the syntsax is rather 'all over the place'. Your apostrophe's wrong too.
sentence 2 does not follow from sentence 1

Photo/m is NOT minimalist and is therefore not constructivist

sentence 3 has no main verb

dadaists' message is not defined and you don't say how it is different from ...something else

re read your three documents and then rewrite
