Mr Flump has been prescribed these and has only just started them. However he is totally zonked and has ' brain pain'. He doesn't tolerate strong painkillers too well, they make him dizzy. He has been given these to ease the pain of his Fibromyalga. Has anyone has similar experiences? Do these side effects lessen after a while? I have a feeling he will stop taking them and add them to the already full bag of drugs he cannot tolerate.

Go back to your GP or phone him......as the dose may have to be reduced.
Sounds like he needs a full drugs review, if he has a bag of stuff he can't take. My MIL had one after she came out of hospital with a sack of new medication - it's been streamlined now.
