A few months ago I saw a doctor on TV discussing the latest weight loss surgery which is some kind of bypass but can be completed in a day without an overnight stay in most cases. Does anyone know the name of this particular procedure?

it may be the one where they put in a balloon and inflate it to decrease your stomach capacity...don't know what it is called though..

No it's a type of gastric bypass and it's a fairly new procedure
