Funeral

Yesterday, I went to the funeral of one of my oldest and dearest friends, I helped her plan it and it was a 'lovely' service.

Have you planned your funeral? I haven't. It's something I keep meaning to do.

As you, meaning to do it soon, re-sorting our wills, renewing passports, (is that a contradiction), price of funerals going up all the time. Just want a cardboard box and fire.

I have planned mine Tilly. Body in the bin, following donation of any spare parts, party at the pub, job done.

Why must it be what you want? You won't be there. All a funeral is is the polite disposal of an empty shell.

Not made any plans. Black bag and the fire will do me. Otherwise a total waste of money. No mourners as there is no one to mourn. Not even sad about that, don't give a fig.
