Hair Removal For Men

as above, any tips - not waxing or laser treatments

this is for the back btw. i've been looking at creams for men & they seem to be exactly the same ingredients as the women's cream just pricier. Anyone out there use them?

No, don;t use them.

Maybe they are pricier because of more concentrated quantities ? I tend to assume men's hair is tougher than women's since hairy blokes seem to be the norm. (Well that's what Norm tells me anyway.)

im trying to decide whether to buy bog standard womens stuff and see if it works or get the "especially for men as their hair is to coarse for womens stuff and we'll charge you more" option

You know the drunken classes....my uncle put veet on our mates head while he slept and it successfully removed his hair...

I use Veet (For women) on both my husband and son's back and it works perfectly well. Might need to leave it on for a little longer for 'heavy' growth

Hi mcfluff just how bad is the hair on your back? If I were you I'd stick to the mens products as the womens products usually are formulated for sensitive skin and so are kinder and not as effective as male products.

I once tried a mens product on my legs and bikini line and I could hardly wlak from the irritation and rash and likewise male friends have tried female products which hardly removed anything.

its not that bad, you wouldn't mistake him for a werewolf... just a bit fluffy round the shoulder area....

He's going on hols soon and is being vain

Make sure he uses plenty of sun cream as the skin will be more likely to burn!

no, i really hate the idea of waxing, if if it does inflict pain on the victim :-)

Use hair clippers as waxing can cause sore raw skin. After clippers he could top up with shaving razor.

anyway i went out at lunch and sains have an offer on sachets of nair sensitive removal cream £1 for 2. there is easily enough to "do" him & if it doesn't work then its only a £1 lost and i can go get the stronger stuff
