sorry buccastem
Ask your GP for what goes with any medication you're taking - and if you buy OTC, make sure you tell the chemist what you're taking already in case of interactions.

I was going to suggest the prescription drug Stemetil (Prochlorperazine) - I take that for sickness brought on my migraine - you need a script for that though.

What's making you nauseous?

the doctors say acid re-flux which i disagree with boxtops.

constant saliva running to my cheeks especially when laid down, and at times can't face solid foods.

I am rather confused....Buccastem and Prochlorperazine (stemetil) are the same drug and i have never known it to be used as an anti-psychotic.

Could you clarify the situation?
Any anti psychotic that I have ever taken has dried my mouth out completely. I do have excess saliva but I take so many drugs I have no idea which one could be causing the problem.

Hope you get it sorted out.
Prochlorperazine (or 'Buccastem') is an antihistamine drug used for nausea and vomiting. Is it as all possible that you are getting confused with procyclidine which can be used as an antipsychotic?
Buccastem and stemetil are the same thing and it's true that stemetil is used as an anti psychotic but (I believe) in much higher doses than is used for nausea and dizziness.
Thankfully I can take stemetil with no side effects.
if t's due to acid reflux, then domperidone will be best as it aids gastric emptying. Stemitil (buccastem) is useful for motion related sickness, and cyclizine is useful for sicness due to chemcals etc
I'm sure I remember reading, when first getting stemetil prescribed, that it was used to damn down some kind of reactions in conditions like schitzophrenia.
