Could be. Caffeine doesn't really effect me physically but it sends my OH a bit loopy.

Unlikely to be coffee so long after drinking it. Rest might be the best advice

It can effect people long after drinking it.

I used to be able to knock back 3 double espressos in the evening and sleep like the proverbial baby. I turned 50 and wham - now I can't take coffee after 3pm or it impacts on my sleep. I am ok with tea - though usually the last is around 6pm. So is that caffeine or just some trigger in the brain having gone pop? They say black tea is more loaded with caffeine than coffee....

Same happened with my Mum, DT. She always drank coffee then suddenly she started having bad reactions to it. She now carries decaf coffee and tea in her handbag.

I stay clear of the decaff - it's the oils that they use. And also if I am going to have a coffee, I want the real thing!

I refuse to drink decaf as well. I'd rather have water :-)

nescafe decaff is decaffeinated using a water rinse method, not oil.
