Incense - any fans/preferences ?

I like to burn incense, for ritual, for 'cleansing' and just because I love the smell.
Are there any other incense users here? and if so, what do you use ?
My favourites are: Goloka nagchampa. Incense Of The West (native American) 'Pinon' and Starchild (of Glastonbury)'s "Avalon".

If it's for ritual purposes I burn White Sage ( not incense the herb itself)- there's nothing as effective imho, but for pleasure I burn Vannilla, Ylang Ylang or lavender mostly.

There used to be a shop near us that sold oil to burn. They had freshly cut grass, ground coffee and freshly baked bread.

They were amazing.

I keep meaning to buy more i like lavander etc i haaaate cinnamon things. It annoys my hayfever just now though xx

I burn white sage too occasionally, I'd forgotten about oil - that is much more subtle and looks great with the little nightlight under it.

Nagchampa is my absolute favourite! I love anything with sandalwood, patchouli etc... My mum and dad were hippies, it kinda rubbed off a wee bit :)

Erin - are you talking about the blue and white packet ? I Loved that too for a long time until I discovered the Goloka version (similar packaging art but yellow and white). This version of Nagchampa is more musty and 'savoury' to my nose. Highly recommended.

Sandle wood gives me headaches, prinknash church insense is a fav in this house and the oil burner use to use alot at home but not since we moved in private rented accomadation.

I often find that sandalwood incenses can smell a bit like wee wee.
