Can't you even face some soup? Vegetable or minestrone would be good, or even just a can of Heinz tomato soup would be better than nothing...
Tinks even if you don't feel like eating, you know you must. Now c'mon, just a little and often. We don't want you pining away on here. Hugs x
Milk shakes or smoothies. Then try a sandwich. Something you can have a bite at a time. It doesn't matter how long it takes to eat it, just as long as you eat it.

Don't worry about it... so long as you are drinking enough give it time when you are out and chatting distracted you might find you can eat ok maybe have a starter portion of something you can pick at... and avoid alcohol it will only make you feel worse...

Thanks...i know it seems a silly question but my mind just isnt thinking that way...ill try later. Prob should drink more aswell :0/ xx
tinkerbell - you lovely thing.

with all that you have been going through, you cannot afford to let your feelings affect your appetite. you must eat in order to have the strength to get through your woes.

try to have a light lunch - nothing too stodgy or heavy (maybe salad?)
and keep the conversation with your friend light and cheerful .. this will enable you to clear your plate.

good luck .. keep your chin up,

E xxx

Tinks, the body is resourceful and will let you know when it needs refuelling. Try not to dwell on lack of food as this is going to add to your anxiety. Try refreshing types of food, things that don't need too much effort to chew, like soft fruit , piece of cake, puddings, and don't worry too much about any calorific content !! You will be aching , bless you , it is awful makes you feel like you have bben flattened by a steam roller. Go out with your friends, try to relax, I know how hard it is going to be. Let them spoil you, xxxx
Tinks, as already said the main thing is to keep fluid levels up - order a starter and just nibble. Believe it or not your appetite will return sweetheart.
Chicken soup, tinks.

Try some complan, it has all the vitamins and goodness in it. You just mix it up with some milk & it's just like a milkshake. It's what I take if ever i've been ill or am off my food.

Hope you're feeling better soon x
