abscess pain killers

i'm suffering from a tooth abscess and have been prescribed amoxicillon to fight the infection, i'm wondering if i can take ibruprofen and paracetamol with the amoxicillon to help with the pain and how many

yes = paracetamol 1g 4-6 hourly (no more than 8 in a day) ibuprofen 400mg Every 8 hours

I agree with bednobs....except Ibuprofen 400mgms 8 hourly is a "piddling dose." but if you have to resort to 400mgms take it every 4 hours.
