Hopes dashed over Nan.

After a day or so at Cheltenham, she was offered a 3-week course of Radiotherapy which would buy her "a little more time".

She decided she'd rather go home. We are gutted but must respect her wishes.

Thank you all for your previous kind wishes. X

I'm sorry NoM, when me and my girls run the race for life next week we will be racing for her and all those affected by cancer. If you let me know her name I will put it on my back message if thats ok with you.
Hugs to you and thinking of you xxx

Thank you, Wingnut, that's a lovely gesture.

Her name is Marjorie Allen. X

(That's just brought a big lump to my throat).
I will run with pride with her name on my back NoM. Whilst I was telling my husband about your Nan, my 9 yr old daughter said she wanted to put her name on her back too :o)
I've lost far too many loved ones to this horrible disease. My husbands 30 yr old nephew is battling it (for the second time) and it all just seems so bloody unfair.
Next Sunday is going to be an emotional day, I will post to let you all know how we do :o)
oh hun, hugs sweet heart. x
So sorry Nom. Just a little thought. Remember the importance of the sense of smell. My OH loved the scent of lavender and in his final weeks found a few drops on his pillow relaxing.
What a lovely gesture from Wingnut.
Thinking of you.xx
