My anti ds have irratated my stomach to the point its bled. Been to the drs and been given anti sickness tablets and stopped the anti depressants.

My question is how long will it take for the anti sickness to kick in as im surving on very bland foods. my day consists of toast, cereal and either mint imperials or kendal mint cake to ease the sickness. I have been given promethrazine hydrochloride.
I am waiting on blood results to what other damage has been done by the bleeding. until then i cant have any more ant ds thats going to be a fun few weeks.

I am not clear about a few things:

Do you mean anti sickness pills or anti nausea pills?
I assume that you mean the latter and that assumption, the anti nausea pills should "kick in" within 24 hours if theybare going to and if the stomach problem is due to your antidepressants.

A lot of imponderables in your question and my reply.

Nausea pills, and they are kicking in just getting the odd not constant stabbing pain now.
The doctor think the bleed was caused by the anti ds, she just wants to be sure that its only my stomach thats been effected.
