Allergic reaction

I used a particular brand of nit killer on thing 1 yesterday. I followed the instructions, etc and this morning she was covered in a rash all over the top of her shoulders and the top of her chest (which is where the ends of her hair reach). Is it worth informing the manufacturer? (PS - I also used it on thing 2 and boy #2 and they didn't get a rash.) Thanks
