Do any of you take these regularly? Like Yakult, etc.

Do they make you feel any better?

Yes, I take one (danone) every day at breakfast. It makes me feel better, saves me having to eat a yoghurt. Yakhult is far too sweet for me.

Thanks Chris - it's the Actimel I take.

That's an interesting read chris. And more so that one of the cheaper ones is also one of the best. Think I might give them a try.
Actimel
I drank an actimel every day for months and noticed no difference at all I'm afraid.
My eldest in particular used to vomit a lot as a baby and every time he got a cold he would vomit too. He wasn't a good eater either so starting giving him a probiotic yoghurt drink with a straw as a treat!! I found that his health and appetite improved and continued these with my younger son too and they are both really robust kids that are seldom sick. my eldest is looking at his 5th school year without and absence and he is only 11 now and youngest has 4 years and is a year younger. So, i'm convinced.
My OH takes a Flora Pro-Activ bottle once a day, and has it over his fruit and cereal - he swears by them and he is pretty healthy.
Pro-Biotic drinks.......a tribute to media marketing.
I had bad tummy nuggets a few years ago. Even after the diarrhoea had subsided, I would get bad tummy pains 2 hours after I ate and this went on for months. I decided to try probiotic drinks (Carrefour's own) and within a week I was cured.
Tummy upset. Lol.
I have an Actimel one every day because I suffer from IBS and yes I think it helps. Sometimes I have two. Quite a few GP's actually recommend probiotic drinks - mine did.

Actimel seems to have a good review from Chris's link. But Morrisons has a good review too and are cheaper. I will try them.
Activia yoghurt, they are really rich and creamy.
