If someone lived for a few years with a traumatic relationship....physical and emotional abuse....and in the middle of it all began suffering from panic attacks...and still does....do you think it could ever have been from post traumatic stress? How would you deal with that if so xx

Panic attacks are generally brought on by a traumatic event such as a death in the family. It doesn't matter about the terminology. It just matters about the treatment. Drug therapy is usually prescribed with cognitive behavioural therapy.
Look at Emotional FreedomTechnique as this worked for me. It is on youtube but would recommend finding a therapist as there are subtle aspects that you cannot get from just watching what to do.

Thank u!! Ill look that up.... Xxx
My friend was in a terrible relationship for years and suffers badly from panic attacks, which she knows were caused by the ex - she's generally a very laid back and confident person. She's been away from him for at least 5 years now, but she still suffers and she has terrible trust issues with men. She takes anti depressants and propanalol and has had counselling on and off.
