Because I wanted to talk to him quickly. I doubt whether he checks his email that often. And I had seen him on here recently. But why should I have to explain ;o)

Most email has notifiers of some sort so it doesn't need to be checked. The user is alerted that 'they have mail'.
Many people access their email from their phone as well as their pc.
This isn't a private message board.

hc. I have been using this site for about 7 years now and know the rules. I doubt very much whether Sqad gets email alerts. Has my posting upset you in anyway! It all seems very trivial.

For personal reasons I wanted to get hold of Sqad quite quickly. You needn't even have bothered looking in.

I don't get email alerts and I don't use a mobile phone except on rare occasions.
