Wound after an Operation!

Last week I had a shoulder operation and I am due to have to 'staples' removed later today......I am dreading it!! Will it hurt?? All I can think of is the staple removers that I have a work!! Help!! :-)

less painful than conventional stitches....take a couple of pain killers half an hour before if you are really worried the staples are not bent over in the same way so just lift out
Don't worry yelenots, it's a painless procedure. I've had two lots removed by nurse at GP practice, no problem.
<shudder>

Not really 'staples', more like 'clips'. As said previously, painless procedure.

had them for a big abdo op... they were in a long time and had started to close over still wasn't painful
